I grew my beard out
got a pet fish
he died a week ago
but he loved the life he lived
work's been steady
my friend got canned
two days before christmas
but other than that

you got a lot of nerve
I can't keep my head clear for more than thirty seconds at a time
you got a lot of guts

when you jumped off that rock you know you could have died
but I'm happy that you convinced me or else I wouldn't have tried
you got a lot of guts, you got a lot of heart and it makes me sick
that these memories are what keep me warm through these cold cold nights.
